Extra Life is back!
This will be my third year participating in the charity event, and I am super-excited about it. Last year, I had a little trouble trying to make the 24 hour marathon all in one go, but this year, I’ll try to do better.
Once again, I’ll be playing for Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. It’s my local hospital once more since I returned to the area a couple months ago.
So, do me and all those kids a favor and check out my page to see if it’s something you can support. Playing games to help cure kids is the best thing EVER!
This is my documentation for my exploits during the 24 hour gaming marathon for Rady’s Children’s Hospital, part of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. I helped raise $200 for the hospital, and now I’m about to start making good on my promise. I have an alarm set for every half hour so that I can both stand up and stretch (preventing dangerous blood clots and waking myself up) and jot down a couple notes about what I’m playing and how I’m feeling. I anticipate sleepiness catching up to me around 1 am or so. I’m not much of a night owl anymore, and I haven’t tried to stay up all night for at least four years. Having a small child sure makes you realize that you can’t stay up all night if you have to be responsible during the day! Continue reading
Just wanted to send out a reminder about the Extra Life Charity Game-athon I’ll be participating in October 20th. My goal is a paltry $200, but I’m still a couple donations away. Feel free to share this post on your Facebook wall, e-mail the link, tweet it or whatever! I received this e-mail recently and thought I’d pass it along to those of you who want to know more about what it’s really about. Continue reading
I am participating in G3, gaming for charity. Proceeds from my gaming will go towards St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. Head to the link for details or to make a donation. I’ll be playing around 6 hours during the specified time.
